Celebrating Love

Nikko fetched me at around 1PM. When I saw him, I was a bit worried because he is working during the night and he went home around 6sm already. The first question I asked was what time he woke up. I got shocked when he said that he didn't sleep yet. But I appreciate that he is spending time with me because he has a commitment to do so.

When I entered the car, he said that his gift for me are chocolates because we have a flower business.

So we traveled all the way from Commonwealth to SMX for the Travel Expo 2014. It is our first time to attend such an event.

Because I have a Citibank Credit Card, we get to have complimentary tickets (saved 50 pesos) :)

When we got it, I was so excited because we were looking for a cheap flight on our way back from Ho Chi Minh. But all the Asian airlines booth are jam packed with a lot of people. There were about 100 people lined up for AirAsia and Cebu Pacific. During the first 30 minutes, I decided to join to line up with the assumption that there are discounts on the end of the line. But the only benefit we will get is that waiving of the web admin fee which is about 400 pesos only. So I decided to just book online instead of spending the whole afternoon lining up. (ime versus money element)

Quite frustrated, we sat in one of the food stalls outside the mall. We talked about the benefit of going to Travel expos for our travel in 2016 because we plan to join the World Youth Day after our wedding.

Tip: For Euro Travels, flights are priced at around USD 600 only (MNL-ROME-MNL).

At around 4:30pm, we traveled to Heritage Hotel for our dinner buffet at Cafe Riviera. We came in very early so we stayed in the lounge area and talked about everything under the sun. (plus selfies haha)

Compared to other buffet places, Cafe Riviera has a cheese corner. They also have some breads and cookies for some pesto and anchovy. So the first thing I tried are the appetizers and some good mushroom soup with rosemary.

Then I tried their Siomai (coz its my favorite) and some raw dishes like salmon sashimi and oyster.

After trying their other dishes, I went to the desserts section and tried their cakes (plus my favorite coffee).

Thank you to Heritage Hotel because we had a good view of the fireworks in SMX Pyrolympics.

Thank you Kuya Nikko for showing me how much you love me! :) I am a happy girl!
