Happy Wife, Happy Life

How does it feel like to be a wife? Literally, happy.

I wake up at 4:30am, eat breakfast at 4:50am and leave the house together with my husband at 5am. I arrive at the gym at around 5:30am and even if its not yet open at that time, Fitness First allow their guests to stay at the waiting area until gym opening time at 6am. I do a 3K run for 25 to 30 minutes then I go to the mind and body studio for some weight lifting and workout. Then I do sun salutations and stretching. After which, I rest and then take a quick and shower, then get dressed up for work. I arrive at the office at around 8am, respond to all my emails, check all my bids and some business hygiene and I am set to conquer the day. I drink coffee at around 9am and eat some mid-morning snack and go back to some serious work stuffs like meetings, discussions or whatsoever. Then at around 12nn I eat lunch then after lunch I go back to work. In the middle, I do stuffs that I love like book reading, blogging, surfing the internet and so on and so forth. I don't allow my 8 hour job steal away my happiness instead I do the stuffs that I love so I can stay motivated with all the things that I need to do. At around 5pm, my husband or mother-in-law drops by to fetch me from work. We get home at around 5:30pm or 6pm depending on the traffic. I rest and prepare my things for the next day or do some extended work until 7pm then I take a hot shower after. Early dinner at 7:30pm with the whole family and then off to bed at 8pm. We end our day with a prayer, thanking God and praying for the days to come. Plus some words of affirmation for my husband because I read in Bo Sanchez' post that we need to say at least 3 words of affirmation daily - this last thing, I should practice more.

I attribute my happiness to simple things:

1. Endorphins from my morning exercise.
2. Food I eat. Diet helps a lot.
3. My husband, he is the best, he makes me happy every single minute, he believes that a happy wife leads to a happy life.
4. Good relationship with in laws - no effort as my in laws are also the best.
5. Good relationship with my parents and siblings - I miss them every now and then.
6. GOD - Shielding prayers in the morning, praise and worship songs during gym time and a lot of mid-day prayers.

I am just grateful to God for allowing me to experience the joy of married life. Thank you Lord. :)
